LEGO Battles aangekondigd voor Nintendo DS

Uitgever Warner Bros. en TT Games gaan samenwerken om een nieuwe LEGO game naar de Nintendo DS te brengen. Deze LEGO Battles wordt aankomende zomer in de winkel verwacht.
In LEGO Battles zal het volgens Warner Bros. draaien om het bouwen van basissen en het aansturen van legers in een bepaald thema. Deze gevechten zullen plaatsvinden in een bepaald thema zoals bijvoorbeeld ruimte, piraten en de middeleeuwen.

Daarnaast kunnen de vele verschillende klassen ook nog met elkaar gemixt worden door de speler. LEGO Battles zal over zes verschillende verhaallijnen beschikken, heeft zeventig levels om te doorlopen en heeft de mogelijkheid tot een multi-card multiplayer.
TT Games was eerder verantwoordelijk voor LEGO Star Wars, LEGO Batman en LEGO Indiana Jones. De ontwikkelaar zegt dat ze zich dit keer meer zullen bezig houden met de productie dan de daadwerkelijke ontwikkeling.
Het maken van de game ligt namelijk volledig in handen van Hellbent Games, die vorig jaar Supreme Commander naar de Xbox 360 bracht.
